MU Legend Closed Beta - First look at all available classes

On the 25th October 2016, Webzen have started the very first Global Closed Beta Test for MU Legend, or MU 2 as an alternative name. MU Legend is a follow up on the MU online series which was released long time ago. In fact, it was the very first MMORPG that I actually got my hand on, although I had only stick with the game for few months, it is simply impossible to erase it from my memory. By learning that MU Legend would be coming to the global market, I tried to get a CBT key and I was fortunate enough to possess one.

The game offers 5 different classes, beside Emphasizer which looks to be a Summoner/Magical class, the rest are playable during the testing. These classes includes Dark Lord, Blader, War Mage and Whisperer. Each class has many ways to build, but Webzen are kind enough to suggest 2 different tactics for each of them, these info can be found by clicking on the See Recommended Tactics during character creation screen.

MU Legend's playable classes

Starting with Dark Lord which seems to be playing the role of a Tanker. By going with Command tactics, which focusing on Health stat, your Dark Lord will become the real meat shield that is leading the front line and taking all the damages, really important during hard raid or dungeon. On the opposite side, Destruction Dark Lord isn't as tanky but can deal better damage, so unless your team are geared with decent equipment, Command Dark Lord will be a better choice.

Dark Lord will lead the front line to protect others from being harmed

Madness and Savage are the 2 recommended tactics for the next class, Blader, who is purely  a damage dealer. Both are focusing on Strength stat. Madness deals higher damage but has slow casting time while Savage has faster cast time but its attack strength is just half as good as the other.

Blader's job is to finish the fight with its mighty damage

War Mage's recommended tactics focus on Intelligence stats which is used to increase its magic attack. Similar to Madness Blader, Magic War Mage will be dealing tons of damages, while Assassin War Mage will be attacking in closed-range with its magic sword. If you choose to be an Assassin War Mage, make sure you know what you are doing so you don't increase the workload for other team members.

War Mage could help with its high magic attack

Finally, Whisperer offers 2 different types of tactics. Strategy will be focusing on supporting, finding the best way to control the battle, to benefit the team while Wild Shot's job is to deal damage with its higher attack, Wild Shot's skills are suitable to clear out small mobs which makes things easier for the team in many intense battles.

Whisperer helps to control the tide of the battle

That's all about MU Legend Classes. Next blog will be about Character Customization, or you can watch it from my YouTube Channel.

Til next time.
